Silver King Lodge is located in the north east corner of Costa Rica. There are no roads and all ground transportation is by boat. The jungle comes up to our grounds with sounds and sights strange to those not from the area. The trees are full of life from sloths to many species of monkey. Bird watchers have a ball recording all types of wild parrots, macaws and hundreds of different species.
When traveling up the rivers or through the lagoons in our rain forests one should close ones eyes and experience all the floral scents that emanate from the thousands of different plants that grow wild in the rain forest. Their colors are of every hue and the shapes defy ones imagination.
The guides at Silver King Lodge have lived all their lives in the area and know the animals and plant life first hand. They would be glad to show you the jungle as they know it.
